1 in 8 children and young people have a diagnosable mental health condition. In February we're supporting @Place2B's #childrensmentalhealthweek - raising importance of the awareness of children and young people's mental health. From 1-7 February 2021 we are taking part in Children's Mental Health Week, focussing on the theme ‘express yourself’ in fun and creative ways. Creativity is a powerful healing tool, which enables young people to express their feelings in a comfortable way. We will be encouraging students to use music, dance, film and creative art to express different aspects of themselves. Activities during tutor and lunchtimes have been designed to get our students active, shake off the frustration of being in lockdown and help them feel good!
