The Early Intervention Coordinator is an exciting new role we have commissioned from the Eikon Charity. The Eikon Charity is one of Surrey’s leading charities supporting children and young people to overcome difficulties, become resilient and develop into confident adults who contribute positively to their communities.
This role will be working collaboratively with Weydon School, Woolmer Hill School and Farnham Heath End School in the WMAT, to expand our provision in our pastoral teams.
The coordinator will work on providing sustained support to vulnerable young people across a cluster of schools, helping them to overcome issues, before they become potentially life-changing problems.
The core work will be providing one to one mentoring and group work activities that develop happy, thriving, and resilient young adults who will contribute positively to society.
We are delighted to have Samena Mehmood join us in this new role following 5 years successful delivery work with Farnham Health End School and Eikon. She is a qualified Youth Worker, with 16-year experience and will complement the service offer, we are delighted that she is joining us as our new Early Intervention Coordinator.
